West Side High Class of 1969 Scholarship

The West Side High School Class of 1969 (formerly known as the Henry County Training School, McDonough, Georgia), along with Dr. Richard Binkney, is offering its annual scholastic achievement/service scholarship for students of color in 2025. The scholarship is recognized as the Dr. Sheila Wilkerson Binkney and Eddie C. Johnson/West Side High Class of 1969 Memorial Scholarships. The scholarships will be administered by the West Side High School Class of 1969 Alumni Committee in association with Dr. Richard Binkney.
Attached is the scholarship application that identifies all requirements for submission, and a page that denotes criteria (Scoring Criteria, page 4) upon which all applications will be assessed. Please note that the application post mark deadline is Friday, May 30, 2025. The recipients will be awarded the scholarship at a venue, hosted by West Side High School Class of 1969, in the fall of this year.
